THE FIRST PIANO DAY IN MEXICO

April 1st, 2023, 20:00h

Av. La Paz 57, First floor, CDMX

Immersive show with piano, violin, cello, electronic music and visual atmospheres

By Daniel Aspuru

For the first time in Mexico, the Piano Day will be held, it’s an event that has been celebrated in various countries around the world since eight years. This celebration is held on the 88th day of each year, alluding to the fact that the piano has 88 keys.

The Piano Day will be an immersive show with grand piano, cello, violin, electronic music and a theatrical lighting design. The music will be deep cut and minimalist.

Why does the world need a Piano Day? For many reasons. But mostly, because it doesn’t hurt to celebrate the piano and everything around it: performers, composers, piano builders, tuners, movers and most important, the listener.
