Hailing from Mexico City (1978), Daniel has been actively involved in the national art scene for over 20 years. His art is multifaceted, but music has always been at its core. As a performer on piano, saxophones, drums, bass clarinet, and Indian tabla, he has traveled the world with his captivating performances. Daniel has recorded 12 albums, some released on international labels, showcasing his solo work as well as his contributions to two bands: El Gabinete and Nine Rain.

Daniel is a natural-born inventor, and one of his notable creations is the Eolic Transducer, a unique pneumatic and electronic musical instrument. This extraordinary invention has been featured in film soundtracks, albums, and live concerts, further demonstrating Daniel's ability to blend technology with music to create a distinct sonic experience.

Throughout his career, Daniel has graced the stages of significant events and festivals, including the inaugural Piano Day in Mexico City, the Time Zones Festival in Bari, Italy, House Der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, Germany, Paradiso in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and the White Nights Festival in Perm, Russia, among others. These performances have left a lasting impression on his artistic journey, expanding his international recognition.

In terms of discography, Daniel has released 12 albums, including solo works like "Música para acompañar" and collaborative albums with El Gabinete such as "Estado Agéntico" and "X aniversario." He has also been involved in musical projects like Nine Rain and has contributed to film soundtracks, notably "Oblatos, el vuelo que Surcó la Noche."

Daniel's musical talents have extended to the realm of theater, where he has composed original music for productions such as "Conferencia sobre la lluvia," "Mi papá está en la Atlántida," and "The Arrival," among others.

Recognized for his musical prowess and unique artistic approach, Daniel has been awarded grants and special support, including the Encuentro Nacional de las Artes (FONCA) in 2022 and the Jóvenes Creadores (FONCA) fellowship in 2004-2005.
